Lemon and Lime essential oils

Lemon and lime are amazing household cleaning oils; they whip through grease and remove any sticky residue that’s put in front of them.

Lemon oil is packed full of vitamins, nutrients and antibacterial agents which help boost your immune system.

Lime oil is said to protect wounds from becoming septic, protect against viral infection, boost appetite, kill bacteria, reduce fever and generally boost health.

Just by breathing these two oils, either by cleaning with them or popping them in your room burner, can assist you emotionally by helping with anxiety, depression, insomnia, irritability, mental exhaustion, nervousness, post natal depression, shock and stress.

Lemon and Lime are incredibly fresh, uplifting and can easily put a spring in your step.

In your room burner, bath, home made cleaning spray or Mollie’s Pure Oil add a couple of drops of Lemon and Lime. Then you can introduce another oil to make different trios.

For example

  • Lemon, Lime + Clary sage = When you are having a really bad day and you need a supper mood and energy boost.
  • Lemon, Lime + Lavender = When the evening is approaching and you wish to start winding down (add frankincense too if you really want to switch off your mind )
  • Lemon, Lime + Rosemary = When you really need to concentrate or study
  • Lemon, Lime + Ylang Ylang = When you want a romantic evening (add patchouli too for a really hot night)
